Responsibilities
- Serve customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
- Proactively contact customers to build relationships and drive branch sales, particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending.
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders, unpacking deliveries, and putting away heavy items such as boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets.
- Cover for the driver on holidays by driving a 3.5t van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to building sites, businesses, and private residences.
- Ensure high standards are maintained throughout the branch.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Prior industry experience (advantageous).
- Previous face-to-face customer service/sales experience (essential).
- Prior warehouse experience (ideal).
- Willingness to work as part of a team and take on a diverse role.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and positive demeanor.

Working Hours & Contract
This is a full-time permanent role, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday: 08:00 am – 05:00 pm. Saturday (rotating basis): 08:00 am – 12:00 pm.
