As a Sales Assistant based in Oxford, Botley you’ll be responsible for:

  • Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
  • General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items.

This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am to 5.00pm and on a rota basis for Saturdays, working 8:00am - 12:00pm, paid as overtime.

  • Prior industry/merchant experience would be advantageous.
  • Previous face to face sales and customer service experience.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
  • Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • To be comfortable lifting heavy items.
