Delivery Driver 3.5T - Canterbury (CT1 3RB) - Plumb Centre

As a Delivery Driver 3.5T based in Canterbury, you will be responsible for:
- Driving a 3.5T van with a tail lift to deliver large and heavy plumbing and heating supplies mainly within the CT postcode area.
- Carrying out deliveries to our customers who include building/construction sites, social housing, and members of the public.
- Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets, and sinks.
- Assisting in the warehouse with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks, and general tidying when not driving.
- Carrying out vehicle checks.
- Potentially serving customers at the trade counter.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30. No weekend work required apart from during stocktake season.
Here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Previous multidrop delivery and experience of driving a 3.5T van.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
