As an Operations Assistant based in Stornoway, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge
  • Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries over the phone or email and processing sales
  • General warehouse duties including goods in & out, filling paperwork, picking and packing customer orders and merchandising

This is a Full Time permanent position working 41.5 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08.00am-5.00pm, Fridays 08:00am-4pm, and alternate Saturdays 09:00am-1pm, paid as overtime.

Here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Previous experience in sales/retail/warehouse
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided)
  • A strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team
  • Full UK manual driving license is beneficial
