As a Sales Assistant based in our Ilkeston branch, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice to customers by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
  • Handling customer queries and providing solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders
  • Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales, particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes
  • Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 07:30am - 5:00pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08:00am -
