As a Delivery Driver 3.5t based in Epsom, you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies
- Covering areas near Epsom which include Surrey, Hampshire, greater London on the SW & West postcodes, some Central London postcodes
- The number of deliveries will vary day to day from 10 - 15
- Carrying out vehicle checks
- Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks
- Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06:00am - 3:00pm. No weekend work required.
Here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Full clean UK Manual Driving Licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
