As an Operations Assistant based in Reading, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods/stock checking
  • Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Relief driver when required, delivery driving 3.5T van

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00am - 16:00pm, with occasional Saturday work on a rota 8:00am - 12:00pm.

  • Industry or merchant experience is desirable
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions
  • PC Literacy is key
  • Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic
