As a Delivery Driver based in Darlington, you’ll be responsible for:
- Transporting goods in vehicles ranging in size from 12T to 18T.
- Safely delivering products to multiple customer locations, providing a professional and courteous service.
- Performing daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
- Accurately completing delivery documentation and using IT systems effectively.
- Building strong customer relationships and representing the company positively.
- Supporting warehouse operations when driving duties are not required.
The role is full-time, working 45 hours a week Monday to Friday.
We would like you to have:
- Full UK Driving Licence with HGV Category C, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries and operating a Lorry Loader.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills and knowledge of vehicle defect checks.
- Commitment to safe driving practices and adherence to Health & Safety regulations.
