As a Technical Sales Assistant based in Edinburgh, you'll be responsible for:
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
- Handling customer queries and providing solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders.
- Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales, particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes.
- Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00. There is also flexibility, which can be discussed at interview.
