As a Branch Supervisor based in St., you will:
- Assist the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running and operations within the branch and take charge when they are not available
- Supervise and support colleagues, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve targets and goals
- Build rapport with suppliers
- Perform general warehouse duties including goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders (this will involve manual handling of heavy stock)
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Drive a 3.5T van making deliveries to customers in the local area
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.
Here’s what we’d like you to have to be a successful Branch Supervisor:
- A Full Driving Licence is essential
- Willingness to step up to run the branch in the Branch Manager's absence
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls to customers to gain new business
