As a Sales Assistant/Warehouse Operative based in Aviemore, you will be responsible for:
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handling discrepancies appropriately and putting stock away in the warehouse
- Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets
- Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers
This is a Full Time permanent position working 42.50 hours a week, Monday to Friday 07.30am - 5.00pm and every other Saturday 08.00am - 12.00pm.
Here’s what we’d like you to have:
- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
- Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal
- Previous Face to Face sales and customer service experience
- Warehouse experience
- The ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
- To be comfortable lifting heavy items
