As a Sales Assistant based in Hucknall you will be responsible for

  • Serving customers on the trade counter, understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
  • Building relationships with customers to drive repeat business, enhance customer experience and maximise lifetime value.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email, providing quotes promptly and courteously with a proactive attitude.
  • Performing general warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems, putting it away, and picking and packing customer orders.
  • Assisting in all areas of the branch to ensure smooth running.
  • Demonstrating eagerness to learn, a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications and experience required

  • Previous face‑to‑face sales and customer service experience.
  • Team‑player attitude and willingness to assist in all areas.
