Salary: £16,033 (Part time 25 Hours) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies mainly within an 80 mile radius of the branch
  • The number of deliveries will vary day to day mainly to new build construction sites but also residential customers and other businesses
  • Carrying out vehicle checks
  • Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks
  • Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a permanent position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00‑13:00.

Qualifications:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Previous multidrop driving is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
  • To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
  • Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
