As a Junior Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in Halesowen, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Servicing and calibrating equipment for our own hire fleet and customer owned equipment, including, where relevant carrying out services at customer premises
  • Competently carrying out technical demonstrations on the company’s full range of hire products
  • Supplying regional support on the specialist range of equipment that is operated from the central support facility at the HQ in Chesterfield
  • Providing telephone technical support both internally and externally
  • Delivering first class customer back up including attending breakdowns, providing onsite technical support and training, carrying out site audits and providing feedback to customers and supervisors

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.30am – 4.30pm or 8am - 5pm.

What we’d like you to have:

  • Basic mechanical engineering/mechanics background
  • Basic Electrical, hydraulic and component fault finding background/experience would be a bonus but not essential
  • Flexible disposition
  • Aptitude to learn quickly
  • Ability to work unsupervised
