Operations Assistant - Consett, Durham (DH8 6SR) - Plumb Centre

Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general warehouse tasks – this will involve manual handling of heavy stock such as radiators, boilers, sinks and toilets.
- Booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away in the designated location.
- Picking and packing customer orders.
- Maintaining high standards of H&S within the warehouse.
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously.
This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 07:00‑16:00.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Plumbing and heating industry or merchant experience is beneficial.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Confidence to interact with customers.
- Dependable, hardworking team player who is open to learning to support in all areas of the branch.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
