Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Business Analysts and Project Managers with analysis activities across projects and change initiatives within Wolseley
  • Assisting with the investigation of business processes and problems, gathering information through meetings, workshops, shadowing and reviewing existing documentation
  • Supporting the documentation of requirements, processes, impacts and analysis outputs, using agreed Wolseley templates, tools and standards
  • Helping to maintain analysis artefacts, logs and documentation repositories in a clear, accurate and organised manner
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement activities, including meeting preparation, note-taking and follow-up actions, with guidance from more experienced colleagues
  • Assisting with analysis activities related to testing, business acceptance and transition of solutions into business-as-usual operations
  • Learning and applying core business analysis techniques and ways of working through structured training, coaching and on-the-job experience
  • Building knowledge of Wolseley’s business, operating model and delivery environment, demonstrating increased confidence, judgement and independence over time
  • Acting professionally at all times, managing time effectively, seeking feedback and taking responsibility for personal development
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as appropriate, including supporting special projects or improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with computers, particularly Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • A minimum of 3 B’s at A-Level, including one of Maths, Economics, Business Studies or Accounting

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm. You’ll also enjoy extensive training and an award-winning pension and great rewards package.
