Warehouse Team Leader – Melmerby – Supply Chain

As a Warehouse Team Leader based in Melmerby you’ll be responsible for:

  • Directly line managing 15 – 20 Operations Assistants, ensuring work has been delegated appropriately
  • Conducting annual reviews, probation meetings, recruitment and absent management
  • Ensuring the team have hit KPIs and verifying all picking, packing and loading have been completed correctly
  • Getting stuck into warehouse duties and supporting the team

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 2.00pm – 10.00pm.

Here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Previous warehouse experience with a history of completing warehouse duties effectively
  • People and talent management skills. Previous warehouse team leader experience is desirable
  • A proactive approach and to be able to get stuck in and support the team
  • To be comfortable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
