Technical Sales Assistant - Ipswich - Pipe and Climate Centre

As a Technical Sales Assistant based in Ipswich, you’ll be responsible for:
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Speaking to suppliers to source and get quotes on cost for parts, materials and special order items for customers.
- Completing general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders, putting away deliveries, and merchandising displays to a high standard.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 with 1hr break. No weekend work required.

- Technical knowledge on Climate products or merchant experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Experience working with trade counter/front facing - essential
- Proven experience in sales or customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
- Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
