As a Sales Assistant based in our Swindon branch you’ll be responsible for: Driving a 3.5T automatic van making deliveries to customers in the local areaServing customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendationsResponding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitudeMaking outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their businessActively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customersGeneral warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toiletsThis is a full time time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and alternate Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm.And here’s what we’d like you to have:A Driving Licence is essentialPlumbing & Heating knowledge is idealPrevious Face to Face sales and customer service experience is essentialWarehouse experienceThe ability to deliver outstanding customer serviceTo be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branchEagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethicWe look forward to receiving your application!
