Accounts Assistant – Ripon – Support Functions

Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities for the property function, ensuring accurate financial administration and record-keeping.
- Managing the property inbox, responding to queries and coordinating property-related financial transactions.
- Maintaining accurate lease information within internal databases and ensuring rent payments are processed correctly and on time.
- Allocating property costs and charges to branches through journal postings, ensuring accurate cost distribution and reporting.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8.00pm - 5.00pm.
Requirements
- Experience using databases and systems to accurately record, maintain, and manage information.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and manage data effectively.
- Motivated to develop professionally, with a willingness to study towards qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA; experience working with leases would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within finance with an understanding of financial processes and administration.
