As an Estimator based in Rainham (RM138HY) or Branston (DE143PD), you’ll be responsible for…
Responsibilities
- Utilising the company’s bespoke CRM system
- Communicating with customers via telephone and email
- Creating quotations for prospects, new and existing customers daily
- Interpreting information provided by the customer to understand their requirements
- Sourcing prices from various manufacturers and suppliers while checking product compatibility and availability to meet strict deadlines
- Advising customers on appropriate products, pricing and lead times
- Liaising with both internal and external colleagues to support the conversion of enquiries into quotations and subsequently orders
- Working to deadlines in order to meet customer expectations
- Staying up to date with current product knowledge and trends
Qualifications
- Good all‑round knowledge of the plumbing & heating industry
- Appreciation of the demands of working within the merchant industry
- Understanding the importance of teamwork and how it can improve service levels for customers
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding and passion for excellence in customer service
- IT, numeracy and analytical skills required
Working Conditions
This is a full‑time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week from either our Rainham or Branston office (hybrid work pattern to be discussed).
