As an Operations Assistant based in Stornoway, you’ll be responsible for:
- Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
- Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries whether that is over the phone or email and processing sales.
- General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, filling paperwork, picking and packing customer orders and merchandising.
This is a Full Time permanent position working 41.5 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08.00am-5.00pm, Fridays 08:00am-4pm. Alternate Saturdays 09:00am-1pm, paid as overtime.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Previous experience in sales/retail/warehouse.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided).
- A strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team.
- Full UK manual driving license is beneficial.
