As a HGV Driver based in Measham you’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
  • Offering excellent Customer Service at all times
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
  • Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
  • Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • A full, Class 2 HGV licence
  • Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs
  • Driver CPC
  • Experience of using, or comfortable with learning, digital technology, i.e. handheld devices
  • Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
