Sales Assistant (Part time 30 hours) - Lowestoft - Plumb Centre

As a Sales Assistant based in Lowestoft you'll be responsible for:

  • Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
  • Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business
  • Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers
  • General administration duties, filing, cash handling and banking

This is a part time permanent role working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 15:00. There is a potential to work Saturday 8:00 to 12:00 as overtime.

Requirements:

  • Previous face to face sales and customer service experience is essential.
  • To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
  • Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
