As a 3.5T Delivery Driver based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers
- Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements, providing product recommendations and dealing with customer enquiries
- Carrying out vehicle checks, loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks
- Assisting in the warehouse when back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am - 4:30pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8am-12pm (paid as overtime).
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Strong customer service/sales/trade counter experience
- Previous 3.5T van and multidrop driving is preferred
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential
