As a Sales Coordinator based in Leeds, you’ll be responsible for:
- Ensuring that quote requests are processed in an accurate and timely manner
- Providing a customer interface for the business by telephone, fax, email, post and face to face ensuring the communication flow is smooth and efficient
- Identifying, expanding and developing new business opportunities in conjunction with the relevant Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Manager
- Ensuring that customer enquiries and queries are progressed and answered in a timely and professional manner
- Establishing good relationships with customers, both internal and external to assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives
- Ensuring that sales orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.30am – 4.30pm or 8am - 5pm on alternate weeks.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Previous Merchanting experience would be ideal but is not essential
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships, both in person and over the telephone
