Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5T van with a Tail Lift to delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in post code areas TW, UB, KT, RH, GU, SL, CR, SM, West London and South West London
- On average you will complete a maximum of 13 deliveries a day
- Carrying out own vehicle checks
- Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks
- Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general warehouse duties.
This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06.00am – 3.00pm.
Qualifications
- Full UK Manual Driving licence
- Experienced in driving a 3.5T van with a Tail Lift
- Previous experience of completing multi‑drop deliveries
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
