As an Area Manager covering Southwest you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing, motivating, and coaching your Branch Managers (circa. 21) through effective coaching, performance management, succession planning and personal development planning.
- Driving the business strategy, sales & growth through the area effectively.
- Leading the recruitment and development of key roles within the Area to ensure the right calibre of colleagues and to create a talent pipeline within the business.
- Ensuring collaboration across all specialisms within the Area to create a culture of partnership.
- Proactive engagement with all Branch Managers in the Area to ensure all local business opportunities are identified and an outstanding service is provided at all times.

- A strong commercial background, ideally within trade, sales, or operations, with a natural instinct for driving growth and profitability.
- Proven experience in senior operational and commercial management, ideally within a multi‐site environment.
- A track record of successfully managing complex challenges and delivering sustainable commercial outcomes.
- Inspirational leadership skills — able to motivate, influence, and develop colleagues at every level.
- A strategic, commercially minded thinker who can turn vision into practical business plans.
- Confidence in developing and managing performance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting.
- Strong numeracy and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and use it to drive decision‐making.
