Delivery Driver 3.5T - Surrey (KT19 9XS) - Plumb Centre

As a 3.5T Delivery Driver based in Epsom, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving a 3.5T van with a Tail Lift to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in postcode areas TW, UB, KT, RH, GU, SL, CR, SM, West London and South West London
  • Completing a maximum of 13 deliveries a day
  • Carrying out own vehicle checks
  • Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks
  • Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general warehouse duties

This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06.00am - 3.00pm.

Here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Full UK Manual Driving licence
  • Experience in driving a 3.5T van with a Tail Lift
  • Previous experience of completing multi-drop deliveries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
  • Team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
  • Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
