As a Trade Counter Supervisor based in Eastleigh you’ll be responsible for:
- Serving customers behind the trade counter and providing product recommendations
- Processing orders online and in store from suppliers
- Managing stock in the warehouse and trade counter
- Dealing and opening new accounts in order to generate new business
- Dealing with deliveries
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 07:30am-16:30pm with 1 hour break. 1 in 3 Saturday and the rota basis 08:00-12:00 paid as overtime.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Previous industry or merchant experience and knowledge in plumbing/heating products
- Prior experience in a Face to Face customer service/sales environment
- Previous experience as a supervisor - essential
- To be a team player who is happy to take on a diverse role to carry out all jobs in the branch to ensure it runs smoothly
- Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
