As a LGV Driver (C1) based in Inverness, youll be responsible for:

  • Driving a 7.5T lorry delivering plumbing and heating products to our customers (This will involve manual handling heavy stock including boilers, radiators, toilets and skinks)

  • Delivery region will cover Inverness and the surrounding areas

  • Carrying out up to 15 deliveries a day to our customers which include building sites and private residences

  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects

  • Providing excellent customer service at all times

  • Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 07.30am to 4.30pm.

  • Full UK Driving License and HGV Licence (Category C license)

  • Driver Qualification Card (CPC)

  • Digital Tachograph Card

  • Prior multi-drop experience driving a 7.5T Lorry

  • A track record of good customer service
