As a LGV Driver (C1) based in Edinburgh (EH28 8PW), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving a 7.5T vehicle delivering plumbing and heating supplies across the Lothians, Fife and Edinburgh mainly to building sites along with some residential addresses
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Adhering to H&S and carrying out vehicle checks
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
  • Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 07.00am - 4.00pm. No weekend working required!

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Valid C1 Licence/CPC and Tachograph Card is essential
  • Previous experience of multi-drop driving a 7.5T vehicle
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
