Responsibilities
- Maintain a company‑wide environmental management system in accordance with ISO14001 requirements.
- Keep up to date with new legislation and provide updates to the business on potential impacts.
- Collect, track and analyse environmental data including carbon and producer responsibility (packaging) for performance monitoring, external reporting and inclusion in the annual report.
- Support environmental requirements for bids, tenders and regulatory regimes, including EPR.
- Build strong relationships with external suppliers and partners to collaboratively deliver environmental initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role within a complex business structure.
- Strong knowledge of developing, implementing and maintaining ISO14001 management systems.
- Skilled in collecting, analysing and presenting environmental data (carbon, packaging, plastics, WEEE, and more) clearly and engagingly.
- Experienced in partnering with senior leaders to drive the environmental agenda and deliver measurable improvements.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of how environmental performance supports strategic advantage and aligns with emerging industry trends.
