Job Overview

Warehouse Team Leader – Wolseley Group, Melmerby – Supply Chain

Full‑time, permanent role. Working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of up to 20 people, conducting 1:1s, annual performance reviews and interviews for new hires.
  • Working to tight deadlines and managing KPIs, both individually and across teams.
  • General warehouse duties such as picking and packing and ensuring the warehouse is health‑and‑safety compliant.
  • Meeting with stakeholders regularly to discuss updates.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse; management experience is not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet KPIs and targets.
  • Own transport required; the warehouse is not accessible by public transport.
