Sales Advisor – Folkestone (CT19 5EU) – Plumb Centre
Salary: £25,562 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

As a Sales Advisor in Folkestone, you’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations while cross‑selling and up‑selling.
- Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
- Making phone calls to lapsed customers to regain their business.
- Speaking to suppliers to obtain costings for items.
- Completing general warehouse duties, including goods in and picking/packing customers’ orders for delivery or collection.
- Ensuring merchandising displays in the branch are to a high standard.
This is a full‑time permanent position, 40 hours per week. Working hours are Monday – Friday 07:30 am to 5:00 pm, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08:00 am – 12:00 pm.
What we’d like you to have:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Industry or merchant experience is advantageous.
- Proven experience in sales or customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
- Dependable team player, prepared to support all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
