Operations Supervisor

Operations Supervisor – Wolseley Group (Burdens)

Location: Fareham – Burdens, Hampshire, southern England.

Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Hours: 42.5 hours/week, Mon–Fri 7:30am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of 5 yard and warehouse operatives, conducting 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Be involved in recruitment and interview process of new hires.
• Pick orders for customers and load/unload vehicles ready for delivery.
• Ensure the warehouse is health and safety compliant at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience working in a fast‑paced warehouse or yard environment.
• Comfortable working in the yard in all weather conditions.
• Ability to delegate tasks to the team, be a team player, and ‘get stuck in’.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting.
