Role: Operations Assistant

As an Operations Assistant based in Arbroath, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations
- Responding to customer enquiries via telephone promptly and courteously
- Giving price quotations to customers
- Working within the warehouse (manual handling of heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
- Loading and unloading stock
- Booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away in the designated location
- Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining high standards of H&S within the warehouse
This is a permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08.00am – 5.00pm.
Qualifications / What we’d like you to have
- Plumbing and heating industry or merchant experience is beneficial
- Previous warehouse experience
- Confidence to interact with customers
- Dependable, hardworking team player who is open to learning to support in all areas of the branch
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
