Responsibilities

As an Operations Assistant based in Dagenham, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Branch Manager with the day to day running and operations within this small branch.
  • Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
  • Working in the warehouse and counter picking orders, booking in and putting away stock and serving customers.
  • Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to queries and processing sales.
  • General warehouse duties including goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders and merchandising.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between 7:30am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driving license preferred but not essential
