As a Warehouse Operative based in Branston, Burton on Trent, you’ll be responsible for:
- Completing general warehouse duties in a fast paced environment
- Picking and packing items ready for delivery to our customers – which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets
- Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections
- Booking stock in on the system and putting it away in the correct locations
- Processing stock and completing orders for delivery or collection
- Driving a forklift truck
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to Health and Safety guidelines
This is a full time role working 42.5 hours a week – Monday - Friday 07:30am - 17:00pm.
What we’d like you to have:
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment
- Prior experience using a forklift – will be advantageous
- Strong numeracy skills and PC literacy
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence – an advantage
