Responsibilities:
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending
- Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets
- Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday between 07.30am – 5.00pm and every other Saturday 08.00am – 12.00pm.
Qualifications:
- Prior trade industry experience would be advantageous
- Previous Face to Face customer service/sales experience is essential
- Prior warehouse experience would be ideal
- willingness to work as part of a team and to take on a diverse role
- Proactive and eager to learn, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic
