Responsibilities:
- Serve customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
- Proactively contact customers to build relationships and drive branch sales, particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including picking and packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets.
- Ensure high standards are maintained in the branch.
Qualifications:
- Prior industry experience would be advantageous.
- Previous face‑to‑face customer service experience is essential.
- Prior warehouse experience would be ideal.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and to take on a diverse role.
- Proactive and eager to learn, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Full time permanent role, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 08:00am – 05:00pm and Saturdays on a rota basis 08:00am – 12:00pm.
