As a night shift Transport Supervisor based in the Milton Keynes/Bedfordshire Distribution Centre, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Transport Manager in managing the transport operation on site.
- Ensuring any non-compliance is reported to the Transport Manager.
- Ensuring the safe delivery of products and the administration of paperwork to a high-quality standard.
- Carrying out Driver debriefs on a daily basis.
- Dealing with day-to-day Driver issues (e.g., uniform, daily driver checks, vehicle cleanliness, etc).
- Liaising with drivers, maintenance and breakdown recovery companies in relation to vehicle breakdowns.
- Ensuring vehicle checks are carried out on a daily basis.
- Working in a safe manner - in line with H&S policy and procedures.
You will be working 45 hours a week, Sunday to Thursday starting anytime from 23:00 to 08:00am and it will be a 9 hour shift.
