As a 3.5T Delivery Driver based in Epsom, you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving a 3.5T van with a Tail Lift to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to customers in postcode areas TW, UB, KT, RH, GU, SL, CR, SM, West London and South West London.
- On average you will complete a maximum of 13 deliveries a day.
- Carrying out own vehicle checks.
- Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks.
- Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general warehouse duties.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06.00am - 3.00pm.
Qualifications:
- Full UK Manual Driving licence.
- Experienced in driving a 3.5T van with a Tail Lift.
- Previous experience of completing multi-drop deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices.
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
