As a Part Time Driver LCV (B) based in Skipton you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the BD area
- On average you will complete 2 - 5 deliveries a day
- Carrying out own vehicle checks
- Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks
- Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general warehouse duties
This is a part time, permanent position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 12.00pm and potentially 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Full UK Manual Driving licence
- Previous experience working in the Plumbing & Heating Industry
- Experienced in driving a 3.5T van doing multidrop deliveries
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
