Sales Assistant - Basingstoke - Plumb Centre
Salary: £26,695 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
We are Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group – a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland. This role focuses on delivering friendly, professional customer service and supporting branch operations.
Responsibilities
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Working within the warehouse (manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
- Loading and unloading stock
- Booking stock in and putting it away in the designated location
- Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08:00am - 12:00pm, paid as overtime.

Qualifications
- Previous face to face customer service experience
- Team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
