Responsibilities:
- Ensuring our OTIF (On Time β In Full) and SLAs are met with accurate picking and packing of customer orders
- Supporting the warehouse team to receive and receipt inbound external orders
- Proactively supporting the team on receipt of our feeder deliveries to ensure orders are fulfilled to customers
- Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets
- Supporting the transport and operations manager with loading of fleet for following day
- Providing cover driving a 3.5T van delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturdays on a rota basis 8.00am - 12.00pm.
Qualifications:
- Previous industry or warehouse experience would be ideal
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and step up to run the department in your manager's absence
- Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
