Role
As a Showroom Manager based in Ayr you’ll be responsible for:
- Running the day to day operations of the showroom embedded in a branch
- Driving sales and service within the Branch Showroom to achieve the required sales and margin targets
- Identifying and generating potential new business leads and develop these
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Training, developing, coaching, and motivating their showroom consultant
- Providing an end-to-end design and delivery service for bathroom customers
- Work in conjunction with the wider branch team to ensure on-time and in full delivery
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.
Requirements
- Prior showroom sales is essential - can discuss customer ideas, flesh out suggestions, describe product, identify opportunities for extra sales and develop the ability to make judgements on the closest product match to the customer needs.
- Managerial experience - the ability to motivate, inspire and develop people
- A current level of awareness of what is happening within the bathrooms industry to assist in customer service and developing the showroom
- Understanding of sales and margins targets and an ability to track success against Showroom Performance Metrics
- Passion for driving consistency in branch standards, ensuring that all areas from front of house to back of house are presented in line with branch plans and enable a positive customer experience
