Responsibilities
- Ensure that all incoming deliveries comply with delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in a timely manner in accordance with procedures.
- Pick and pack items to fulfil customer requirements, involving manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets.
- Serve customers at the trade counter, over the phone and via email.
- Drive a 3.5‑ton van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers.
- Work Schedule
This is a full‑time permanent position working 42.50 hours a week, Monday to Friday 07:30 am – 5:00 pm and every other Saturday 08:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Qualifications
- A full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential.
- Previous industry experience would be beneficial.
- Willingness to move between jobs to meet business needs.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle a physically demanding job.
