Job Title

SEND Teaching Assistant fixed term to start 1.9.26 until 31.8.26 initially, with the possibility of extending further subject to need. Term-time only plus teacher training days (39 weeks)

8.30am to 4pm (35 hours per week)

Salary range

Grade 3 FTE Salary: £26,427-£27,274 per annum pro rata based on hours and weeks worked

We have the following fixed term vacancies

SEND Teaching Assistants Level 3

To support children with special educational needs. Fixed term, to start as soon as possible until 31.8.27 initially, with the possibility of extending further subject to need.

We are looking to appoint someone who will share our vision for high quality education for all our children and also shows enthusiasm and motivation to:

• Help improve educational and social inclusion opportunities and outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching, senior staff and SENDCO to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils in and outside of the classroom.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS is needed for this post. Two references will be taken up for all short-listed candidates prior to interview or appointment.
