We are working with a growing fashion retailer that is searching for a proactive Junior Merchandiser to join their fast‑paced team. Reporting directly to the Senior Merchandiser, you’ll play an influential role in shaping product performance across multiple categories, making sure ranges land in the right place, at the right time, to deliver maximum impact for customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Merchandiser and Buyers to support the creation of balanced product mixes.
  • Participate in Range Selection meetings, contributing to effective range building and planning.
  • Maintain and update WSSIs.
  • Regularly review core line availability and performance, recommending actions to improve results.
  • Track and assess how new‑season lines are trading, identifying opportunities to drive sales and mitigate risks.
  • Analyse trial products and new initiatives, using insights to guide future planning strategies.
  • Provide clear summaries and performance commentary ahead of key markdown periods, including seasonal sales and clearance activity.
  • Monitor variances against sales plans and year‑on‑year results, flagging areas of concern or opportunity.

This role suits an experienced Assistant Merchandiser or existing Junior Merchandiser who’s ready to step into a developing planning function and make a meaningful impact.
